Nation with Environmental Awareness

In the frame of commemorating The Environment Day on June 5, 1993, the Directorate General of Posts and Telecommunications issues series of special stamps "Nation with Environmental Awareness". In this issue shows 3 flowers and 3 animals declared as the flora and fauna of National, Charms and Rare (National Identity in the forms of flower and animal).

Technical Specification :

1. Jasmin (Jasminum sambac) as the National Flower and Komodo Dragon (Varanus komodoensis) as the National Waildlife

2. Orchid (Phalaenopsis amabilis) as the Flower of Charm and Arwana/Siluk Merah fish (Seleropages formosus) as the Charm Animal

3. Rafflesia (Rafflesia arnoldi) as the Flower in Rarity and Java's Eagle (Spizaetus bartelsi) as the Rare Animal
